Cependant, trop peu de patients savent qu&rsquo;il est possible de pr\u00e9venir le torticolis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qu&rsquo;est-ce qu&rsquo;un torticolis?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:21% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"231\" height=\"218\" src=\"https:\/\/osteopathe-barral-franconville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/torticolis.jpg\" alt=\"torticolis ost\u00e9opathe\" class=\"wp-image-406 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Le torticolis est un blocage cervical. Un spasme continu des muscles du cou et\/ou de la nuque maintien le blocage. Il peut apparaitre de fa\u00e7on brutale ou au r\u00e9veil. On parle souvent alors de mauvaise position de sommeil. Mais son origine est souvent plus complexe.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quelles sont les causes d&rsquo;un torticolis?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le torticolis comme le lumbago est une perte de compensation. Lorsqu&rsquo;un tissu perd en mobilit\u00e9 le reste du corps compense cette perte de mobilit\u00e9 afin de permettre au corps d&rsquo;effectuer le plus de mouvement possible. Les structures les plus mobiles du corps en relation avec celle en perte de mobilit\u00e9 vont r\u00e9aliser les compensations . Donc tout trouble au niveau de la t\u00eate, des membres sup\u00e9rieurs peut avoir une influence sur les cervicales. Mais \u00e9galement le thorax, le diaphragme ainsi que les visc\u00e8res de l&rsquo;abdomen. Tout cet ensemble jouant sur la respiration. Plusieurs muscles pouvant aider \u00e0 la respiration s&rsquo;ins\u00e9rant sur les cervicales et le nerf du diaphragme (le muscle de la respiration) \u00e9tant issus des cervicales moyennes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les cervicales vont donc compenser toute perte de mobilit\u00e9 de ces diff\u00e9rentes structures. Cependant si une contrainte trop importante, ou trop prolong\u00e9, est appliqu\u00e9e sur la structure alors pour prot\u00e9ger l&rsquo;int\u00e9grit\u00e9 des structures le corps va verrouiller les articulations par un spasme musculaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comment l&rsquo;ost\u00e9opathe peut-il soulager ou pr\u00e9venir le torticolis?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le torticolis peut donc se r\u00e9sumer \u00e0 un spasme musculaire maintenu par une boucle neurologique. Il suffit donc d&rsquo;interrompre cette boucle afin de rel\u00e2cher le muscle et donc de stopper la douleur tout en rendant de la mobilit\u00e9. Mais le traitement ne s&rsquo;arr\u00eate pas l\u00e0 car les tensions appliqu\u00e9es aux cervicales sont toujours pr\u00e9sentes. Il est donc important que l&rsquo;ost\u00e9opathe traite \u00e9galement ces causes de tensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces adaptations sont pr\u00e9sentes chez tout le monde, en fonction de nos ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents, de nos activit\u00e9s ou notre hygi\u00e8ne de vie.
